This kyusu teapot is finished in a soft indigo blue and red tone and feels delicate yet expressive. The subtle floral pattern on the lid lends the entire piece a softer and more charming presence. Its color is not painted on but born from the metal itself: copper is heated to a high temperature and rapidly cooled, allowing the surface to develop its own natural shade. Because this reaction is influenced by subtle shifts in temperature and atmosphere, no two pieces emerge alike; some lean toward a richer red, while others show brighter hues or a faint golden sheen. 

Each teapot begins as a flat sheet of copper, shaped and hammered by hand to achieve its rounded profile and refined presence. Inside, a built-in tea strainer makes it easy to use for both everyday tea and slower, more intentional moments. The spout and handle are protected with a silver wax coating for durability. The inside is tin-plated so that prevents odors, making it suitable for enjoying the taste of tea itself.

Although compact, the teapot holds approximately 6.8 fl oz (200 ml). The warmth of the uncoated copper, combined with the gentle form, brings a sense of calm to the table, inviting you to slow down as you pour.
