This plant pot was born from a collaboration between a Bizen ware workshop and a designer deeply attuned to the needs of plants. Low in profile with a width similar to its height, the pot provides a balanced canvas for small plants. Its surface is marked by a soft crimson hidasuki pattern created by wrapping straw around the piece during firing, giving each pot its own individual character.

Choose between two different clays and colors: Recycled Bizen and Turquoise Blue. The soft brown Recycled Bizen contains 30 percent crushed ceramic waste for an eco-friendly finish. The Turquoise Blue contains pigment blended directly into clay for a calm, modern presence. Kiln placement results in variations in the turquoise hue that bring a natural feel.

Engineered for plant health, the interior’s gentle curve and wide drainage hole allow water to flow out with ease, while the unglazed clay is breathable, supporting a root environment close to nature. Two integrated feet are hidden from the front, optimizing drainage while maintaining a sleek, restrained silhouette.
