This beautiful Tobe ware deep plate features a wreath of beautiful flowers in gentle hues of green and light blue. 

Subtle colors decorate the blooming flowers painted on a white porcelain canvas. Small dots painted in gold are scattered, adding a discreet accent to the overall design. 

Higashi Kiln employs a unique technique called washi-zome. Colors and designs are added to the unglazed surfaces using Japanese washi paper. This technique gives a watercolor-like softness to the floral patterns, which creates a pleasant atmosphere at the table.
