Individually handcrafted, this dinner plate shows the character of the artisan’s hand in each line and curve. Its softly rounded edges follow a natural rhythm. A layer of soft, pink-white Shino glaze pools richly across the surface, hand-wiped after glazing to create a gentle line across the center.

Each plate is made from mogusa clay and coated with Shino glaze, creating a subtle color unique to every piece. The Shino glaze, made from feldspar, naturally contracts during firing to form a fine, crackled, and porous pattern known as kairagi—a "plum-blossom skin" texture cherished for its organic beauty and depth. Over time, the pattern deepens, allowing the plate to age gracefully and develop character with each use, much like a well-loved heirloom.
