Featuring the distinctive nami-yu glaze, made from the ashes of the Kyoto forest, this katakuchi sake carafe embodies a natural clay color in creamy-white. With leaves merging dark and light green shades, the camellia beautifully balances the white and red dyed petals. These petals stand out with a unique, raised, and glossy finish, contrasting with the watercolor-like backdrop of the leaves.

Each camellia design is hand-painted by individual Japanese-style painters from Tosen Kiln. These artisans, with a profound background in Japanese-style painting, offer more than mere decoration. 

The carafe's handle, crafted from a branch, presents a harmonious contrast between the smooth stoneware and the rustic wood texture. Holding the carafe, one is immediately drawn to the elegance of the camellia design.
